Review on ๐Ÿฅš Brinsea Ovation 56 EX Egg Incubator: Fully Automatic with Humidity Control [One Size] by Pete Norris

The temperature will not withstand

At first I thought it was the best after sliced bread. I set it up, let it run for a few days before monitoring humidity and temperature, and it didn't seem to budge. On day 10 I scanned the duck eggs. I put the lid back on, made sure it was tight (the lid is heavy and a little awkward to handle), and the high temp alarm went off. I double checked everything, put the cover back on, and it beeped again and continued to climb. the temperature reached the egg-killing temperature of 120 degrees. I parked the car and left it overnight. The next day I tried using it again and it hit 115 degrees before I turned it off. The product is defective. I'm not sure what happened, but at these temperatures it's unsuitable for poultry eggs. I contacted the company and got no response (even though it was a Saturday morning at 2am). I also requested a replacement from Revain as the product was defective. I think this is a good incubator, but sometimes there is a person who gets a bad product. Unfortunately, that person was me. If the second one does the same, I will not buy this particular product again. Incidentally, with such temperatures and high humidity, this will also go wrong. **Update** Brinsea contacted me the following Monday and wanted me to fix the issue but I have already sent it back via UPS. Received a replacement from Revain on Tuesday and so far it's holding up the temp and humidity.
