Blinded by the light --- NO!

I used to be all Bruce Springsteen/Manfred Mann when driving at night ("Blinded by the Light"), especially when it was raining. The advent of widespread use of halogen headlights and LED street lights has made driving at night more difficult. My optometrist told me photosensitivity after 50 is normal, another reason old age stinks. So I figured this visor would be worth a try and I'm glad I did. The brightness of oncoming headlights is significantly reduced. No more squinting and looking away. One of the biggest problems for me was the reflection of headlights from various traffic signs (speed limits, turns, deer crossing, etc.). With this visor there is no glare reflection. It even worked pretty well when some idiot wasn't dimming the brightness. It takes a few minutes to get used to the visor while your brain learns to ignore the edges, but only a few minutes. It's like your brain getting used to ignoring the frames/rims of a new pair of glasses. All in all, this is what I wish I had bought 5 or 10 years ago. It's on my list of "things that don't suck"

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Damaged
