I really like this timer but there are only two small problems with it. I bought this timer to use mainly for home schooling with my kids, but ended up using it a lot more than I expected. The positives: Here's what we like: 1) My kids love the visual aspect so they know how much time is left. for any type of activity. 2) My kids (5 and 7 years old) can also easily assemble it themselves by turning the knob. They actually started using it themselves to take turns playing with the toys which is great I don't have to get involved! 3) It has a strong magnet on the back, a table stand and a hole for hanging on a hook. 4) It's a very good size and easy to see from across the room. Cons: I only have two minor issues with this timer. 1) The ticking is too loud for me. This may not be a problem for most people, but when I try to teach my kids it can be distracting (although my kids don't complain about it). 2) If you want to set it for less than 5 minutes, it will not ring. Again, this isn't a huge issue, but worth mentioning. Overall a great visual timer and I would buy it again despite the flaws!
