Review on Rice cooker Xiaomi Induction Heating Rice Cooker 2 3L, white by Dagmara Iwaczuk-Wgrz ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Expectations were not met, average quality.

To begin, the salesperson and I (and I appreciate his patience!) had a lengthy exchange in one of the major chain stores. Attempts were made to establish communication with the rice cooker. Both he and I installed the app on our phones and spent the better part of an hour trying to establish a connection. That feature wasn't available in the app! As it turned out, the rice cooker only had one button, so they flipped it around because it wasn't obvious that it wouldn't work without the app. In 2022, there are no instructions, or they are only available in English (it was later brought). We followed the instructions on the box, which merely tell you to download the app. Long-suffering leftists, generally speaking. Then I walked by a corporate store and a dealer by complete chance. My question concerns making a link via the program. And now he adds, "I'll give you a call, and we'll work things out." It turned out that in order to see the rice cooker in the app, I had to change the region from 2022 to China or Beijing (I can't remember which) in the settings. After wasting another ten minutes looking for the phone, I finally managed to get in touch with the rice cooker. Then we reached the part about making rice. I knew this was an impossible task after asking, "what is the quality of rice, and what kind of rice do I need?" The questions were free-form; there was no drop-down list of possible responses. Finally, I attempted to add at least a few recipes to the app. Even at the dealership, it was useless. The manufacturer's website was the only place he could get the recipes. That is to say, there is no cooking or recipe-following involved in the application that controls it. Incredible tale.

Pros
  • Aesthetically pleasing layout; everything is white and smooth with no buttons; high-quality inner pan; hefty and solid weight; small size.
Cons
  • I just didn't get how it operates.
