It's a cable, it works
In hindsight, a relocated cable would have been better than an equal length. In addition, the length between them is not enough to lay the cable of a 27-inch monitor. So he just dangles under the displays and Y is on the table. It works out? Of course. It just looks a little sloppy IMHO. If you don't have OCD, this is probably great for you.
