I'm very happy, it really is worth buying.
It can catch stray sunlight even when placed against the light, however this is largely irrelevant. The item comes with a hood. Macro photography requires a lot of light, but this is a moment characteristic of the genre as a whole, not only for this lens.
Pros
- Increase in size by a factor of 2 without the need for lenses or rings. Lightweight and streamlined. Useful as a lens for taking portraits.
Cons
- No autofocus, no zoom, and no stabilization features are available. acceptable for the cost.
