I had a Jack Lalane juicer from Costco and used it for about a month. It took a very long time to clean and took a lot of food to get some juice. My friend works on Norwalk juicers and I've tried the juice he made and it tasted much better and got more juice out of the produce. I was interested but didn't want to spend $2,500 on a Norwalk in case juicing was a temporary step. I've researched and found which methods work best and produce the most juice and longest shelf life. I have looked at many juicers and the VRT350 has had great reviews on things that are important to me. Not insanely expensive, lots of exit from the entrance, easy to clean and a good guarantee just in case. I also bought Amazon's 3 year warranty as it covers shipping and some things not covered by Omega. For $30 it was less than a shipping bill to send it in for repair. The machine arrived last Saturday and we are amazed at how easy it is to load the product. Since it's vertical, it really just sucks it up on its own. And very easy to clean. I think no longer than 2 minutes. It was a great purchase and we can now stick to a juicing schedule as it is so quick and easy. A tip: load hard objects behind the sheet metal parts, as the hard objects help to grind and compress the sheet metal parts. I add the spinach and then I add the carrots, which gets a lot of the juice out of the spinach. Ginger root really adds flavor and horseradish root is healthy. Adding a lime is also a great way to mix everything together for flavor. Excellent balance between quality and design of the machine.
