Review on Lifegard Aquatics Double Threaded Bulkhead by Dave Russell

Worked great after fixing Operator Bug

. The fault was mine. I usually put an o-ring in the tank. After ordering more gaskets to fit the gasket on both sides, I started searching online to see if the side of the gasket with the raised lines goes to the flange or the surface to be sealed (no luck, random side of flange ). with smooth side seal) read that the seal always goes to the flange, not the nut side. Now I have inner and outer seals and it's airtight. I'm not sure if it was the second seal or the one on the flange side, but we're fine. Well seals the bottom of a 55 gallon Klamata drum used as a hydraulic accumulator. We apologize for the first review. I bought four of these to use for attaching plumbing to 2 45 gallon rain barrels. they are garbage. They put two faucets on the first barrel, poured in 30 gallons of tap water, and both began to drip. One is slow and the other is pretty stable. Disassembled, checked for any burrs I may have missed (none), reassembled and refilled. Still leaked. Deflated again and tried to tighten it more tightly and the rear nut snapped. Grabbed one of the fittings for another barrel and replaced the broken one. He put his hand straight down, then tightened it with a wrench and filled again. Still in flow. This unit is in my basement so no leaks are allowed.
