A week or two later the connection worked.
It worked for a week or two, then the connection of the cable to the tape recorder started to weaken and the sound disappeared. When I was 10-8 years old there were times when I didn't listen to the radio, which is not normal for Little Rock. I fiddled with the cable and found that it was out of sync and didn't lose connection.
