My husband has been in the hospitality industry for many years and has a great deal of experience with a variety of wine corks/tins. This particular cork is junk. It is very difficult to use with some sparkling wine bottles. (Not all sparkling wine bottles have the same design; bottles for Prosecco, Champagne, and other types and brands are slightly different sizes. The cork can be difficult to place on the bottle and almost impossible to remove. We ended up trying to pry ours open with a screwdriver and DO NOT BUY THIS Get a Tried, Tested, and Genuine Hack Open/Cut Type Champagne Stopper They are more expensive as they are usually made of stainless steel, but be prepared to only need one and it will serve you a lifetime I'm sending this scrap back.
