Fits in most kitchen compost bins Starts to decompose when wet
We bought these for our town compost program and a kitchen basket. They're the perfect size, spread easily, and for the most part hold up well. There are problems when the products you put in are wet, soaking the bag. In fact, this is a good sign demonstrating the compostability of the packaging. However, it is not an idea if it takes some time to fill the shopping cart. To minimize this problem we have switched to storing the basket in the freezer until full.
- STRENGTH AND DURABILITY: Compost bags are much stronger than others and tear and wear out easily.
