Review on Panasonic Batteries Carbon Double Battery Household Supplies in Household Batteries by Chad Slaughter

We bought these for our H4n recorder which we used to record sound from the stage. We had 4 hours on the batteries and thought it might be worth a try. Can't beat the title and Heavy Duty? Well when we saw after the first show that the recorder was broken we thought it was a recorder or we didn't have fresh batteries (we use new ones for every show). So the next performance, we checked it after the first act, about an hour and a half later, and it was over. So maybe it's the batteries. We borrowed some Ray-o-vac batteries from the sound engineer and put them in for the second act. At the end of the show (another hour and a half) the recorder was still working and the batteries had 3 out of 4 divisions left. I came home and looked at the specs of these batteries but found nothing. I then noticed on the Panasonic site that it says "Heavy Duty" but then it says it's for "Low Power Devices". Nowhere in the Revain list is this; only they are heavy duty. So I have 40 batteries that I cannot return. Instead, I'm looking for Ray-O-Vac.
