The alarm makes a very loud chirp that is sure to draw attention! Turning it on is easy with a double press of the button or by pulling on the end of the chain. If you press the button once, it serves as a flashlight. A very stiff outer shell that feels solid yet light, compact in size and oval in shape is very comfortable in the hand. I plan to use this at night when walking to my car through a dark parking lot. I can turn on the alarm and shine the flashlight on my face if someone is coming my way! When I think about it, I'd rather run fast! Moving light will also draw attention. I usually have my keys in hand when I walk to my car, so I'm glad it's hanging right on my key fob so it's always there. Comes with a small Phillips screwdriver when you're ready to replace the battery. I would recommend this personal alarm at a reasonable price!
