I work in law enforcement and bought it so they can't hear the radios I listen to when I talk to people for a month but then the sound going through them became very faint and everything was hard to hear. I had to turn the radio up to maximum volume, after which I still heard almost nothing and the sound quality was distorted. I think this is a good example of "you get what you pay for".
