Installation was pretty easy and the mechanism held the door open.

Installation was fairly easy and the mechanism for holding the door open was well designed. i really like it The only thing I don't like is that the feed mechanism is not very smooth. It slowly retracts (i.e. it pushes air out of the hose) but when it hits the last 5% it locks into place. It's hard to explain without a diagram, but as it manifests, your door slowly closes, but when there's 1-2 inches left it just slams shut. The answer to this question lies in adjusting the fasteners so that the door is in the closed position before the tube is fully retracted so it never snaps. Again difficult to explain.
