I was expecting LED icicles to be similar to most LED strings of the past year, but these bulbs and connecting wires are REALLY small, although they're probably bright enough! The worst problem is the location of the "controller". I was hoping it would be an actual "remote control" but it is in line with the lights and only inches from the first lights with a 3 foot wire connector. If your location is easy to get to, it isn't. so bad. It seems to remember previous settings when not plugged in. However, if you install them along windows, you may need a large, handy ladder to change settings. My eyes are about 14 feet and I'll probably settle for the previous setting every night. I also bought 3 strings; everyone has to"reprogram"?
