Difficult to get enough air to make anything other than a standard airtight container

These are strong containers that remain airtight. The problem is that the pump and valve to remove the air are not working properly. Once you start pumping air out, the area around the valve warps, making it very difficult to release additional air... if you apply maximum pressure by squeezing the pump... you can get a tight enough seal to release a little more Air. It is not possible to extract all or even most of the air
