4 star rating has a lot to due with its affordable price point. I was looking to incorporate yoga with my weight lifting routine but didn’t want to spend the money on a more expensive mat. While this mat did the trick, I have since fallen in love/hate with and yoga and have purchased a manduka pro and more recently an Airex corona (Yes, the name of the mat is corona but it is AMAZING) The Ewedoos has not been used since and have NO plans on going back unless I practice on the go as this mat is very light. There really is a HUGE difference in functionality and quality BUT a HUGE difference in price as well. All in all, this is a perfectly suitable option for beginners or those not looking to practice regularly.
