I was looking for a windbreak and I think this clothes had to pass the "shock test". Try blowing it with your hand on the other side, it won't work - you can't blow air out of your lungs and you won't feel anything on the other side of the fabric. This test is passed with flying colours. It's not a windshield - it's a windshield! On the other hand, I didn't want anything waterproof either, because in my experience even the most breathable waterproof fabric is not breathable enough. It seems that this fabric really isn't impregnated, so we should be fine too. My wrists are tight enough, they don't let air through, but they don't interfere with circulation either. Other head holes can be tightened. My huge head fits perfectly in the hood, even in the hat. Another win. The body is very baggy. The arms are quite large, but be careful, they can be a bit short. Little bit. Black is really black. The fabric is thicker than I thought. I've seen nylon windbreakers that are much thinner but still very windproof. I was hoping for about the same. It's a lot thicker. But then it's less than a third of the price. Overall it does its job exactly as advertised. If you want the lightest you can find, spend more. That's enough for me. So I recommend this jacket 100 percent.
