Review on Stansport 766 Saddle Bag by Nale Dunn

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The price corresponds to what they are.

This is an economical set of suitcases. I was looking for something cheap that I could stuff with gaskets as "bumpers" to protect my bike in the event of a low speed rollover. I'm new to racing so protecting the bike from accidents is a challenge. After installing them, I dropped the bike and it landed on those bags in the back and the engine guard in the front, preventing damage. To give you an idea of the size I was able to supply two empty 1 gallon water jugs. in any direction to pretty much fill the pockets. There is a metal ring on each side to tie the bags together. It would have been nice to have two rings on each side so I could secure the bag front and back, but there aren't any. They seem sturdy enough for my current use, but I haven't had them in any weather, so no. I don't know how they will survive.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Without machine
