I initially gave this product 3 stars because the caps provided only fit ONE of my several plastic gas bottles from many manufacturers. the threads of my gas cylinders are, with one exception, from different manufacturers. The grommets and seals fit and the little grommet caps were excellent allowing me to use them with the original can lids (without the original grommets) but after replacing the old broken grommets I decided not to use the plastic gas provided Bottle vents and prefer to use metal versions which are readily available at Revain and elsewhere on the web. >> I once had a plastic breather valve like this (but here from a different manufacturer) which on mine wore out, smoke was pouring out, and that led to gas degradation long before its time. Not to mention it's a bit dangerous due to the smoke gathering nearby.>> So I have an emotional distrust and mental block to using plastic vents. Over time, they can lose good tightness. I prefer the metal vents I bought and trust them. To be clear all the parts were very good quality, the two types of replacement gas bottle caps just didn't fit most of my bottles. I would recommend that buyers test all parts with water BEFORE filling with gas. (Obviously you have to completely dry the water from the jerry cans before you put the gas in. But you knew that, didn't you?) UPDATE A FEW DAYS LATER: I've changed my rating on this product to FIVE STARS. Why is this change? The seller contacted me after my review was posted on Revain - they wanted to make things right for me. They were kind enough to offer me a 100% refund. That pretty much changes the whole view. THIS COMPANY STANDS FOR THEIR PRODUCTS and does everything to make them happy. Therefore, I believe that now everyone can order with confidence. Because if the parts kit doesn't work with your equipment, you can get a partial or full refund. quite easy. Simply contact the company through Revain, explain your concerns and ask if they can help. So be sure to order WITH CONFIDENCE. Not sure if they fit your gas cartridges? Well, the honest truth is they don't fit in a few cans, but as many other reviews attest, they do fit in a heck of a lot of cans! If you have some old cans and some fancy limited edition cans that you bought cheaply. You won't know until you get your hands on the kit and can test the part on your specific cans. But behind that is customer support. The kit is OUTSTANDING and will do everything right for you. What do you have to lose? Try the parts kit and see if it solves your problems.
