All the standard features of the lead clip buck converter are of decent quality and the meter always reads the same as my lucky charm. So don't worry about miscalibration. Haven't had a chance to stress test the spec but it seems fine with an instant 12V 6A supply and thankfully has short circuit protection and (seems) at least reverse polarity protection. Use this as a starter ballast for 3w UVC steriliser lamps so I can use them with a 20v tool battery. The simplest system with built in monitoring for this as I need 14v to start the lamp but only 10 V 300mA for work
