This is an incredibly well made device. The company offers services at the highest level. I recently put 4,000 miles on a motorcycle with this device so I feel like I can give an unbiased opinion. Pros: build quality, new extra features like speed camera location, ease of use, smart accessories. Cons: The device is incredibly sensitive, and I say that because I spent the entire trip with someone who was using Adaptiv 2.0, not my 3.0. Many new cars now have collision avoidance systems and use the Ka band, which happens to use the same band as most police radars. So, on the route, the device stops almost constantly, which makes it almost unusable. I permanently disabled the warning, leaving me unprotected. I'm no alarmist, but when it traverses the entire state of Connecticut 99% of the time, it becomes more of a nuisance than a useful tool. I contacted the company and they told me to disable the X range which is not even used for false positives like this. When you're in the middle of nowhere, it works just fine. I haven't decided yet whether I'll keep this unit or return it for an older model that isn't as prone to false alarms. I like the new features of the new more advanced device but I live in a densely populated area and if it keeps turning off it becomes like a little boy crying wolf and embarrassing me at the end of the day. That's why I gave it four stars instead of five.
