If the only strip you have is significantly wider than the one you're gluing it to, you may need to lay it flat and use a utility knife first. 2) It takes a little practice. Sufficient pressure is required to cause significant friction along the entire length. Try to cut in one pass. 3) It's designed to fall apart, but that's easy to do if it slips out of your hands. You must then erase everything before putting it back together. Yes, I definitely recommend it.
