Stitch markers are just as good as the more expensive safety pin markers I've used in the past. These are significantly cheaper. I love that there are many different colors which makes it easy to color code different things along the way. The organizer box is practical but thin. I keep it in a small zippered pouch where I stash small items that are easy to lose, like my row counter. The zip pocket keeps the stitch marker case closed more securely, but if the zip pocket jumps or tips over, some stitch markers will move from one compartment to another. This question doesn't bother me, I just want to comment. The organizer is good for color separation, but I definitely wouldn't store separately in a project bag. I expect the latch to open easily and squirt out all of the contents. All in all I recommend this product.
