Rock! - Computer accessories and peripherals

This is the right power supply. It delivers very clean performance, has a very nice solid body and is well built with quality branded components. I bought this power supply on purpose because I needed something solid and nicely packaged like this for my homemade air conditioner controller. I've had no problems with it and it's the perfect solution for what I need. I really recommend this one!

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Compatibility

Reliable and small for an uninterruptible power supply (UPS)

I use this power supply in an LED lamp that I designed myself. It was very reliable, providing stable voltage and enough current to drive long 5V LED strips and ESP32. It gets hot during operation, but never hot enough to be an issue, which is why Minwell got the design right for this thing. I am very happy with it and will buy more in the future.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Something to add

Good supply, there are screw holes on the side and behind

Good supply. The potentiometer next to the terminals allows you to fine-tune it to the expected voltage. There are also screw holes on the side and back to attach it to anything, screws are not included but I found a few screws in my PC parts basket that fit perfectly. See Medium Well's website for more specifications.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence

  • There are nuances

Good Inexpensive 5V DC Switching Power Supply

The unit I received would regulate from 4.17 to 5.62V (at a lighter load). an easily accessible potentiometer (part of it visible in the photo) next to the terminals. Features a bright green power LED visible through openings in the case/behind the adjustment knob. There are mounting holes on the bottom. Added a small capacitor and choke for smooth output (not required for most applications), 50mm 5V fan (also optional) and attached to the DIN bracket with 3M double-sided tape. RTV silicone is…

Small footprint better than 5v wall wart

Bought 2 of these for an aquarium control project. Large size, stable performance and good performance. Ran them to 5.099 volts and they stayed at that voltage even under load.

Pros
  • Special offer
Cons
  • Crumpled

It's such a nice little block and I was really hoping it would be.

Such a nice little device and I really hoped it would work. Unpacked and switched on. The voltage started above 5V, about 5.3. Adjusted it as much as possible but could only go to 5.3. The longer it was connected to my meter, the higher the voltage rose. Before I turned it off and unplugged my meter, it went back to 5.8 VDC. Unfortunately, the board I'm trying to power has a maximum voltage of 5.5V, so this power supply won't work. It would be nice if it even arrived at 5 volts and stayed…

Great little power supplies

I use this little 5 volt switching power supply with my ham radio. During my experiments I repeatedly insulted him and he always fought back. It puts out a perfect 5.00 volts and really 3 amps. Better still, I'm using this source in a critical radio listening environment and it produces no discernible hash or noise. When I was in the industry we had several Mean Well consumables for commercial broadcasters. I don't think we've ever had bad luck with them. The company name is a bit silly but…
