Don't get me wrong, this is a good budget phone, but it's missing a thing or two that I feel are essential. Don't have a simple "Back/Find your way back" button? If you're staying at a hotel or at a friend's house and going sightseeing from there, you'll need to set your favorite places for that place. Not a terrible process, though. Second, I often visit Canada. I can tell it to show kilometers on the screen, but the voice still says distances to turns in miles or yards! My odometer is in tenths or miles. why, at the next bend, a voice tells me meters. I do not play soccer. I don't know how many meters that is! After I updated the map, it still lagged a bit. About three years ago there was a block in my town where one-way traffic was replaced with two-way traffic. The updated map I downloaded still shows this as one of the possibilities. 3 YEARS! My recent trip to Canada also required a few map updates. In fact I suspect they aren't doing much to update the Canadian map from this trip. :-PA After looking into this thing I have to say again that as a junior model it's pretty good. I love the fact that I don't go crazy turning a corner because I want to go sightseeing. As long as there are alternatives, he simply changes the route. If the new route is longer or more difficult, you will simply be prompted to turn around and take the turn you missed.
