Review on 300 Amps US Forge 🔨 Welding Heavy Duty Bronze Ground Clamp by Matt Mix

This clip is very difficult to open. I read the reviews before buying and half of them said it was difficult and the other half said it was easy. I thought some reviewers had poor grip strength. nope It takes at least 50 pounds to open this clamp. Too heavy. I suspect that the manufacturer uses different springs when assembling. In addition, it opens approximately 1 inch before the spring is pushed to its limit, making attachment to pipes or other non-standard shapes impossible. The loop is drilled at an angle so the clamp is off-center. The good thing is that it's heavy enough to just lay it on a flat surface and get a good connection.
