Great cotton feel... Sizes?

Looks good. I bought a size up hoping for longer, slim waist leggings to fit my skinny ladies. I think I bought a size 10 but the tag says 8 so I'm confused...although I ended up choosing a size that fits my little girl perfectly so what are you buying? I will update this review in a few weeks and a few washes.
