In general, these components are quite cheap. This is the second time I have had to replace RV toilet parts due to leaks. They're cheap plastic, if they were made of brass or similar materials like sink faucets they wouldn't need to be replaced as often, if at all. This kit fixed my leak. Installation was pretty easy. It has only been used for a few days so who knows how long it will last but so far so good. UPDATE 9/16/20: A year later it looks like I'll be replacing this part again. Complete and complete garbage. You would think that for the price they are charging they could design better quality parts. Consider replacing the entire toilet with Dometic.
