Thetford 34100 Style Water Valve Review

The valve was easily installed without having to remove the toilet. But after 2 days it flows out of the junction of the halves. Nothing can be done, it is assembled at the factory. Just bad design and bad quality. I would say don't buy it but there is no other option but to replace the entire toilet. I've read other reviews where it took a few tries to get a good roll. My problem is that I will always test it and expect it to leak again. Cheap plastic parts suck.

UPDATE: 4/5/2021 Thetford deserves to lose all motorhome contracts. The valve is leaking, I've changed it before. I'll just cover it with magic rubber shit. In general, these components are quite cheap. This is the second time I have had to replace RV toilet parts due to leaks. They're cheap plastic, if they were made of brass or similar materials like sink faucets they wouldn't need to be replaced as often, if at all. This kit fixed my leak. Installation was pretty easy. As always when it's listed for RV, HD, Marine or Recreation and overseas production, it's twice the price and lasts half as long. It works perfectly even when it's freshly installed. I replaced my leaking valve with a brand new one and within a week it started leaking again so I put it back in for another new valve which leaked straight away. The stuffing box seal was noticeably deformed and squeezed out of the valve body.
