Love/hate relationship with these sensors

I'm writing this review after using these sensors for the first time; However, I have been working with air conditioning for about 8 years. At first I was very impressed with the quality of these gauges and thought the carrying case was a nice bonus as it was big enough to hold the gauges, hoses and cans. Faucet faucet and even a can of refrigerant. The fittings are tight and won't leak, the gauges are easy to read and work smoothly, the hoses are the perfect length for cars and trucks, and the low and high side handles are easy to grab and close tightly. The o-rings rotted and disintegrated with use, resulting in a blocked ACME port on the yellow hose found when attempting to pull vacuum. After disassembling the yellow hose connector and removing all visible parts and oiling what was left of the o-rings I was able to get everything working. could not be attached. Each of these o-rings broke and I had to clean the dirt before this set of gauges worked. Right now I'm torn between swapping out or switching to another brand. These sensors have been rated highly and appear to be very well made. Unfortunately, something like rotten O-rings can leave you stuck, and no extras were provided - and I don't have time to wait for the manufacturer to send me new ones. I will look into Yellow Jacket and Robinair sets and may need to spend a little more money.
