update: I shot another star. After about 9 months of ownership, the docking station no longer charges the mouse. It can be turned on and off by playing with the mouse, but I couldn't find a reliable way to charge it. The cable still works as a charger, but that's clearly impractical. To be honest this is not acceptable for the price of this mouse and there are no obvious signs of damage or other reasons for this issue. That leads me to believe the hardware isn't well thought out and cheap enough, especially since it doesn't look like the phone I charge every day. Sometimes I forget and use the mouse for 2-3 days before charging it. I'm now filing a warranty claim and I'm sure it will be approved, but then again I expect more from such an expensive mouse. I was kind of expecting this when I bought it as I've had tons of issues with every Razer product I've had and I really need to stop buying their stuff. TL; DR has a few issues that are pretty annoying for a $170 mouse. If you really want to take full advantage of it, don't expect around 100 hours of battery life, averaging around 8 hours. Some issues with mouse wheel and RGB. Firstly, I don't have much experience with wireless mice, but I don't see any noticeable difference between this and my old wired Razer Mamba. at full LED brightness, I get an average of 8 hours of battery life, which is decent enough, but a far cry from "100 hours". Obviously this is just marketing as they always warn against such claims that you can significantly extend the lifespan by turning the lights off or off altogether which doesn't really matter. I don't even look at them when I'm definitely using them with The Mouse. I'll have to experiment more with it to find that sweet brightness and battery life endurance, and it's not difficult to unplug the cable from the hub and plug it into a mouse in case the battery dies. I'm deducting two stars for that in addition to the price, the mouse looks really good so far, but man 170 € is a lot of money for a mouse. Sure, it has to be one of the best mice out there, but I just can't think of a valid reason to justify the price. I've seen better charging tricks like a QI enabled mouse paired with a wireless charging mouse pad and RGB isn't anything special with that as my previous Razer Mamba had a better backlight and actually seemed to work as shown. This mouse has a strip of light on the side and from the pictures it looks like you can make it flow in a nice rainbow pattern but after some fiddling with mine I can't get any of these effects as everything seems to change. Zones at a time instead of a rainbow as affect. However, this might just be due to a new app and something silly I'm missing. The physical attributes of the mouse itself are pleasant, it fits my large hands well, and the thumb rest only adds to the comfort. All buttons seem to be well placed and easily accessible when needed. They also changed the DPI buttons a bit compared to my Mamba and they now seem harder to accidentally press. The mouse wheel sensitivity switch is quite odd, as I noticed at the maximum sensitivity setting (I like more friction and feedback in the mouse wheel). You roll it a little further. However, I found that I could fix this by lowering the sensitivity a bit.
