I wasn't aware of this when I bought the Ninja, but it seems to be common on other devices as well. I used it with XT3 but this problem exists with Sony A73. as well as with GH5. This has to do with the HDMI range. The footage is recorded correctly, it just needs to return to normal data levels in your NLE, but the screen doesn't show LOG properly, which can cause exposure issues etc etc. Also, it's good technology, but it so completely defeats the purpose of the second monitor. I contacted Atomos, they tried to help but stopped responding when I disclosed the problem, which by the way they already know about. And even then they are not fixed. I will go back and buy a Shogun as it correctly renders the LOG in my tests.
