If you have to exit the ski resort in the parking lot, that's great. And it's perfect for living up to the letter of the law (in Washington state) that 4WD vehicles must have chains where chains are required. But heck it's really scary even at 15mph in wet/muddy/icy conditions. I took a step backwards going down the hill. That has never happened to me. However, it really works in the snow. And it literally happens in a minute for both sides. Just put it on halfway, move it forward a meter and put it on the rest of the way. But I wouldn't use it for anything other than relatively flat surfaces.
