Update 10/06/21: Changed to 4 stars. The company contacted me and offered to replace attachments. The new one definitely works. I'll keep an eye on him and make sure he doesn't die in a year. First Rating: This thing died completely in less than a year. There is absolutely no absorption. The lights will flash once briefly after the vacuum has started and then go out, but the roller will not spin at all and there will be no vacuuming. The result is the same whether I plug it directly into the vacuum or plug it into an extension cord. If I could go back and spend my money better I would prefer an official Dyson head over this one. Do not buy.
