Great portable projector

Got this guy as a cheaper alternative to the big bedroom TV. I have to say I'm very impressed with what the small projector technology has become today. You get so many features for something that would have cost over $400 a few years ago. Wonderful. I haven't tested wireless streaming on this device as I have an Android family. Although it seems to work very well with IOS. I'm currently setting it up with a wired HDMI cable and using the built-in speakers for audio. One of the things mentioned in other reviews that bothered me is the fan noise of this unit while running. You can hear it when you turn the device on, but once the sound starts, you literally can't hear the fan anymore. I also saw a few people talking about having to be in a super dark room. I have not found this to be the case. The photo I posted above shows 9pm because I didn't reset the unit's internal clock, but it was 11:30am in Texas (very bright outside) with regular curtains. Image quality and brightness are excellent. You don't want to use this device in a brightly lit room, but pretty much turn off the lights and draw the curtains and you're golden, I think. Pros: The built-in apps are fantastic, and there are several of them. The project photo shows a clear projection with easily adjustable focus. Built-in speakers that connect with Bluetooth. Can be permanently installed but is also small enough to be portable. Period, maybe I'll get one of these for my media room too. Cons: No left-right projection adjustment, so your projector needs to be aimed squarely at the wall or screen, but there is up/down adjustment and focus adjustment. Keep this in mind for our purposes.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • I dunno
