Looks good has some assembly issues

This is basically a decent desk with some annoying assembly issues. Such a small table should be easy to assemble, but there are a few problems. One screw - one of four - that completely secures the bottom shelf just couldn't be screwed in. I couldn't tell if it was an alignment issue, a drilling issue, or something else, but the screw was not included. stabilization problems? Possibly if someone were to put heavy objects there, but the main purpose of such a table is to hold a cup of tea or something, so the lower shelf is of secondary importance. Another assembly problem was that the parts were cumbersome and connected with cam bolts that were soft and easy to remove. I did it, but it was harder than it needed to be. These things can be designed to be quick and easy to snap together, or finicky and with potential stability issues. This... the last one. It actually looked quite nice when put together and the drawer could hold some handy items, pens or whatever. It turns a little when you apply torque to it, but you probably won't. However, it is worth mentioning. The main problem, however, is that such a small thing needs to be assembled and done by yourself in 15 minutes with nothing more than a cordless screwdriver. Due to the special screws and eccentric bolts, it was not even possible to use an electric screwdriver. So, I'm docking this thing for the assembly effort, which was manageable, but as long as you're not weighing it down with heavy books it'll be fine. It's good to hold a cup of tea or similar items. . Nice, but mostly for looks. Do not plan heavy objects, do not lean on them and the like.
