Review on πŸ”΅ Chantal Mia Cobalt Blue Electric Water Kettle, 32 oz by Ashley Carter

A solid kettle of smaller size; Rust

UPDATE: After 2 weeks of use, the first rust spots appeared in the lid. For reference, I noticed that condensation always remains on the inside of the lid unless removed to dry, even when there is no water left in the kettle. Removing the cover isn't particularly practical or convenient, so the rusting issue seems to be an issue for me. ORIGINAL: So far, so good. No visible plastic or silicon parts inside. It is not very visible how the bottom connects to the body, the connection is hidden inside. What I like about it is that once the water starts to boil (judging by the sound), it automatically turns off immediately. All other kettles I've tried have boiled for a good 20 seconds or more. This is not. It's small, perfect for 1-2 people (or more if you use smaller mugs; we're only used to 400ml tea mugs). Boils water quickly, so it doesn't take long to boil water twice in a row either. However, if you frequently boil more than 1 liter of water, consider a larger model. Chantal makes another standard-size (about 1.7 L) all-metal kettle. Due to the narrow spout, filling the mug takes a little longer than with any other teapot I've tried. It took me a while to get used to it, but it doesn't really bother me. Makes tea preparation a ritual. There is no water level indicator on the outside (just a few rudimentary markings on the inside), so you have to try to find the ideal level. But once you get used to it, it shouldn't be a problem. The power indicator is on one side only. The side handle never gets hot. The lid handle may feel hot if you leave a large amount of hot water in the kettle for a long time. But it's still manageable and cools down quickly.
