Small and very light.

Small and very light; almost tin. The price seemed a little high, even at $35, and the lid flexes when dropped and bumped, just like a kettle. The lid is also tight. Otherwise it is all stainless steel (if any) with all metal parts. Heats up quickly and makes 3 regular sized mugs. Bought the matte black to match other devices big and small and it may or may not scratch over time. I don't know if it will last as long as my plastic Krups (5 years and working). All I wanted was a small metal…

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Safety

I love these teapots!

I bought this model a few years ago (slightly different model, same brand/size). I liked it so much that when I saw one (this model in a different colour) for sale at a discount store I bought it as a replacement even though I don't need it yet. Ours liked my MIL so much when it arrived I gave her an extra. It's still going strong. Went on a long trip this summer, both car camping and hotel. When in hotels the glorified hot pots/Keurigs make a lousy cup of tea (IMHO they don't get hot enough to

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Negative impression

A solid kettle of smaller size; Rust

UPDATE: After 2 weeks of use, the first rust spots appeared in the lid. For reference, I noticed that condensation always remains on the inside of the lid unless removed to dry, even when there is no water left in the kettle. Removing the cover isn't particularly practical or convenient, so the rusting issue seems to be an issue for me. ORIGINAL: So far, so good. No visible plastic or silicon parts inside. It is not very visible how the bottom connects to the body, the connection is hidden…

Pros
  • Wide Range
Cons
  • Zero
