This cap protects your gas level from thieves who love the taste of benzene and protects your engine from sugar-wielding saboteurs. Three clicks while turning clockwise and you're done. Best of all, this cap seals the fuel system properly and will not light up a check engine light (I used it on my Volvo S80 2.9) or set off alarms on smog tests. The only slight difficulty is putting the key in the slot. to open the lid (the metal door that protects the slot is not recommended). The trick is to press the key against the slotted door and then turn the key until it fits into the slot. This is the only complex craftsmanship required by the device.
