The processing quality of this telescopic sight is really good. The focus knob is very smooth and will hold focus accurately until you decide to change it. The rubberized monocular lies reasonably securely in the hand. Holding down for quick recognition works well, but with the zoom level, your image gets a little shaky. I mounted it on a tripod and had a great time with my kids watching the different birds that grace our garden. We also used a tripod/monocular to observe the moon and other bright Messier objects (too much fun!). You can see a decent amount of chromatic aberration and vignetting in the eyepiece, but that's to be expected with a scope of this size/magnification and doesn't detract from the fun. The smartphone holder feels a little cheap in my opinion and I doubt I'll use it after my first try. All in all, this is a decent quality scope that I think is great for terrestrial observations and good for starting out in astronomy.
