Very disappointed with this light. Let me start by remodeling houses and installing dozens of lights. This is the worst faucet I've ever installed. Problem #1: The length of the mounting screw is long and if you use the nut you have extra room which makes the fixture not flush with the ceiling. You must use washers or another nut to attach it to the ceiling. Problem #2: The glass dome or lid "screws" or twists and snaps into small metal indentations in the body of the instrument, but these are so small that they don't hold the glass lid well. It took about five tries for it to snap into place, and it's hard to tell when it's actually there. It fell once after I thought it was safe and thanks to our soft carpet it didn't break. Might hurt someone. We were lucky. Problem #3: Two of the four vertical connection points connecting the ring to the main body of the light were broken on arrival. Back then, we desperately needed something for our space, so we used it anyway. But I will replace it as soon as possible. It's a piece of junk and a waste of money. Looks good but is absolutely poor quality made from cheap materials.
