I have this adapter to deal with a cable/plug when I get in and out of my home office which happens about once a day. Something very strange is happening with the power cord. It seems to keep waking my 2016 MacBook Pro every few minutes when it's in sleep mode, which is very annoying when I'm concentrating on something else. Sometimes it also decides to completely stop my laptop from charging. I go to my office in the morning and press Touch ID, but the screen flickers long enough to see the charge is 0%. Since I started plugging power into a separate USB-C port, this problem has gone. Now I'm dealing with two cables and I wanted to solve that with this adapter. Clearly a first world problem. Write me as "Fur" on this product.
