Slightly disappointing

I have this adapter to deal with a cable/plug when I get in and out of my home office which happens about once a day. Something very strange is happening with the power cord. It seems to keep waking my 2016 MacBook Pro every few minutes when it's in sleep mode, which is very annoying when I'm concentrating on something else. Sometimes it also decides to completely stop my laptop from charging. I go to my office in the morning and press Touch ID, but the screen flickers long enough to see theโ€ฆ

Good idea - not a good implementation yet.

Intermittent operation. I bought it to connect ethernet, vga monitor, power adapter and usb to my late 2016 macbook pro with one cable. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't work over ethernet, sometimes it didn't work on the monitor either. All of these connections work all the time through the other two ports.

It's okay - it's just overpriced.

Works great on 2016 Macbook Pro. No problems (except overpriced). I would NOT connect power to this port. Why use a USB-C adapter port for this? Plug the power supply into a different port directly into the laptop. You don't need those extra volts/electrons because it gets hot enough. It really costs about $40.
