Good idea - not a good implementation yet.

Intermittent operation. I bought it to connect ethernet, vga monitor, power adapter and usb to my late 2016 macbook pro with one cable. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't work over ethernet, sometimes it didn't work on the monitor either. All of these connections work all the time through the other two ports.
