It's okay - it's just overpriced.

Works great on 2016 Macbook Pro. No problems (except overpriced). I would NOT connect power to this port. Why use a USB-C adapter port for this? Plug the power supply into a different port directly into the laptop. You don't need those extra volts/electrons because it gets hot enough. It really costs about $40.
