(Cons): The packaging is not enough to protect these expensive light bulbs in transit. One (of two) came broken - with a crack in the glass at the base around the ceramic end. As soon as I installed it and turned it on, it blew up. The second (twin) worked fine. Pros: Revain sent a label asking for the defective lamp to be returned and promptly replaced it. Raven is great! I change them about every 18 months so it's best for DIYers to use. I'll probably buy a few more just to have on hand so I don't have to go through the replacement process to install broken bulbs that were damaged in transit.
