I should probably give this GPS a higher rating as it works as advertised. Keep in mind that this is a member of the Garmin Essential series, meaning only the basic features are included. I should have read the description more carefully, I thought I would upgrade from Garmin to their "best" 2015 model for several years (at least at the top price). But I do miss being able to give voice commands to my GPS, connecting it to my phone via Bluetooth, and having a long battery life. This device will not run for an hour on batteries. Also, because the ride data is on the page, it seems to take up so much screen real estate that the usable screen isn't much larger than on my old device. I expect the 68LMT will be used as a backup for my long trips and my old Garmin will be the main device I use. I now have over an hour of battery life. Having used this Nuvi68 on the go, I really enjoy searching for items on my itinerary. I always hated when a search 100 miles behind me turned up something! This looks ahead along your route. Much more useful. On the other hand, something new. Nuvi68 cannot work reliably with the BaseCamp software. This is a known issue on all Garmin 2 digit models and has been discussed on the Garmin forums since 05/04/2015. Come on Garmin, fix it. Luckily, Windows can easily communicate with the Nuvi68, so you can manually drag and drop GPX files to and from the device if you want to load waypoints, save tracks, etc.
