Review on Battat Shape Sorter House: Color and Shape Sorting Toy for Toddlers 2+ - Includes 6 Keys and 12 Shapes! (14-Piece Set) by George Mack

Not recommended for young children

This is a good toy for a child who is learning their shapes and colors and developing fine motor skills. Strength and durability are fine. It's made of plastic, so it can break easily. My 2 year old can open the door without a key. Still, it's a good toy. I gave it 4 stars because my 2 year old is learning all of its colors and shapes. This is a great toy for him because it teaches him about shapes, colors and shapes and helps him develop fine motor skills. He is also obsessed with opening doors with keys. What I didn't like about this toy were the keys. Toddler cannot open any of the doors with the keys provided, so they will not develop fine motor skills using the keys. I would prefer all keyholes to be the same original keyhole and have 1 key for all. I also wish that one day you will use the keys to open the doors so that they lock again when you close them. Instead, you have to reinsert and turn the key to keep the doors closed. Finally, I want to have a place to store the keys so they don't get lost. There is no place to store the key with the sorter so my toddler can easily throw it somewhere and it will be lost.

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Not everything fits
